- Include a leaf or stem for scale where you can
- Avoid harsh shadows and heavy backlighting
📶 You'll need a good connection
Identification uploads your photo, so it works best on WiFi or with at least two bars of signal. Expect it to take 20–30 seconds depending on your connection.
Low on signal? Take the photo now with your regular camera and come back to identify it once you have better reception — your photo keeps the detail either way.
